Post by dirty devil »

Hello Guys,

I have a question.
Does anyone know how the photo oppertunities are during this airshow from inside the airfield?

Photo conditions are generally OK, with the exception of the early two hours or so of the show when there are backlit conditions. You might do the intrepid thing and walk to the others side of the runway. From experience I know that as long as you stay off the airfield itself no-one will bother you there. In the morning you can pay an extra five pounds or so and do the flight-line walk, which mostly yields good pictures.
I've attended Flying Legends for the past six or seven years. Last year was the first time that there gaps in the programme, but for the rest it definitely is worthwhile going!
