Lelystad (EHLE) 06/04/2013 CIV Hoogvliegersdag + Dutch Yak's

Hello,

Today I went to Lelystad for a few hours. It was rather busy because of the "Hoogvliegersdag". There was a small static-show with, for example, a Daktota, Catalina, AP-Friendship, KLu-F50, Mustang PH-JAT, Jetstream G-OAKI and also the SAAB Viggen of the Aviodrome.
Also 4 newly Dutch registerd Yaks went out for a flight. Nice to see these now with Dutch markings.

Nice shots!
Yak PH-DTM is a relatively new addition to Lelystad if I'm right, anybody for her former homebase? I presume Germany, but which airfield?

My addition to this wonderful day. Actually the Dutch Thunder Yaks team had special guests in the backseat. Race car drivers, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Sebastiaan Bleekemolen, Jeroen Mul, Pieter Schothorst and Bas Schothorst. It was amazing to see how people who have alot of thrills in race cars were very impressed in flying formation and some aerobatics. Overall a great experience for them.
