What do you mean with "Monday more Tonkas"?! Will there be a few aircraft to be exchanged!?

Only the four grey c/s Tonka's were visible from the outside. No Sign of the camo one.

Hi Midair,

Can you please post your findings tomorrow after you went to Florennes? That would be very much appreciated! I'm very curious how many AMI Tornado's there are at Florennes now, where they are parked and at what time they fly.

Thanks,

Per

Hello,

I was visiting Florennes today(15-04) and in the morning 5 Tornado's were flying and during the afternoon
4 Tornado's went out. Unfortunately something happened with one of the two F-16's (F-16B) flying in the after
noon causing the airfield to be closed for a while. As a result of this the 4 Tornado's returning at this
moment had to circle a round. When the airfield was open again only 3 Tornado's landed and one seems to have diverted
to Bauvechain. So when I left at 17:00 3 Tornado's were parked at the TLP ramp and 1 in the TLP hangar.

Ronald N.

It's not really correct Ronald, The morning round were 4 Tornados and number 5 was coming from Italy as exchange for the camo one (MM7028/50-52), which sadly returned back to Italy on Friday.

I was at Florennes yesterday from 10:30 to 17:00. The morning wave take off was at 10h20 (I saw them from my car) with 4 Tornado. They came back at 12h00. After that the Tornado diverted to Beauvechain yesterday came back and did 2 low approch before landing.
The second wave of 4 Tornado departed at 15h00 and came back at 16h45.

In all I saw 6 AMI Tornado at the TLP ramp.

Today i was the whole day on Florennes.
It was in the morning cloudy with some sunshine and later this day the weather was be better with more sun.
I arrived at 07:30 and the first wave with 2x F-16 (FA-101 & FA-130) started at 08:45.
They came back at +/- 10:20.

At +/- 10:30 4x Italian Tornados ar started (50-07, 50-40, 50-42, 50-46). This 4 Tornados came back at +/- 12:00.
The 50-07 and the 50-46 had special marks on the front of the aircrafts.

At 12:15 the 2nd wave started with 2x F-16 (FA-101 & FA-130) started.
They came back at +/- 13:45.

At +/-14:50 2x F-16 (FA-126 & FA-129) started with an QRA (weapons loaded)
They came back at with an low approach +/- 16:10

At +/-15:15 4x Italian Tornados ar started (50-40, 50-42, 50-45, 50-46). The 50-40 & 50-42 came back at +/- 16:30.
The other 2 Tornados didn't land this day. Maybe back to Itay??

At +/-15:50 the 3nd wave started with 2x F-16 (FA-101 & FA-130) started.
The FA-130 came back at +/- 17:05 and the FA-101 came back at +/- 17:30.

At +/-16:20 we've got 2 visitors F-16 (FA-68 & FA-91).
They have landed.

At +/- 16:35 there was an C-130 Hercules (BAF) CH-04 and this aircraft did make an touch and go.
This hercules hasn't land at Florennes.

So i've seen a lot of aircrafts this day. It was also an busy day.

The pictures that i've made are uploaded now at my website.
