15/04/13 - 19/04/13

15/04/13

on arrival in Malta noted both AFM B200s (AS1126 & AS1227) one on the ramp outside their hangar and the other inside.

@ 0945z (1145 local time) noted a AMI AB212 over St Julien's Bay

16/04/13

@ 0900z (1100 local time) noted a AMI AB212 over Valetta Harbour

17/04/13

@ 1910z (2110 local time) noted a AMI AB212 over Valetta

18/04/13

between 1045z & 1100z (1245 and 1300 local time) noted a AFM B200 inbound to the airport. Believed to be AS1126 as AS1227 noted on FR24 returning from far afield during the evening.
@ 1200z (1400 local time) noted a AFM AL3 north of the airport
@ 1900z (2100z local time) noted a AMI AB212 over Valetta

19/04/13

on departure noted a AFM AL3 outside the hangars being refuelled and a AFM BN2 arrived at 0913z (1113 local time).

--------

If there are any Malta spotters with SBS that can tie up the AMI AB212s, AFM AL3 and BN2 I'd be grateful (that's assuming they are mode s capable). Would be interested to know which 2 AB212s are currently in residence either way.

thanks to Marco who has emailed me to advise that the AB212 on the 15th & 16th was MM81155 (c/s I1155) and the AL3 on the 18th was AS9315 (c/s AS9315 / AS15). He also told me that an AB212 c/s I1163 was flying during the morning of the 18th, and I have since had another email from a Malta spotter advising me that MM81163 is currently the second AB212 operating in Malta.

The Islander on 19th has been confirmed as AS9819 (c/s AS9819 / AS19)

EDIT:

AB212 17th & 18th was once again MM81155 (c/s I1155)

B200 18th was AS1126 (c/s AS1126)

AL3 19th was AS9211 having recently arrived as c/s AS11

my thanks to all who supplied data and/or pointed me to various web sites.
