The military airfield Sion celebrating on Saturday 25 May 2013 from 9.00 am to 17.00 clock, its 70th anniversary. On this occasion the Welsh population and all aviation fans are invited to "open day" invited the same with the 5th "Fête de l'Air" the user of the civil airport immersion takes place.
The anniversary allows visitors to learn about the everyday life of a military airfield, the Air Force and the numerous occupations of aviation.

- The visitor parking lot is located in Aproz / Pra-Bardy (follow the signs). Free shuttle buses run from the visitor car park and the train to Sion airport.
