DORI 51-55 and DORI 61-65 arrived at Hickam AFB March 11. F/A-18s enroute to Japan ?

They were.

The colour bird was 168363 NF-200.

There were actually 13 new F/A-18E of VFA-27 arriving at Atsugi on the 13th.The only one known is the one listed above so far.

First new F/A-18E is 168363 which is believed to be a lot 34 aircraft.

Thanks for the correction. Looks like VFA-25 took the other Lot 34s (plus at least one Lot 33 a/c, 166959).

Might VFA-27's Lot 25 jets be going to VFA-151 (latest squadron to transition to 'E')? Makes sense for VFA-27 to get new Lot 35s as CVW-5 squadrons (being permanently forward-deployed) will now all have Lot 31 or later aircraft.

Apparently VFA-151 is receiving brand new aircraft as their CAG bird has been noted this month as 168471/NG-300.
