In the list of participants the Su-35, Yak-130 and Ka-52 are listed as both flying and static. Will there be 2 of each, or are they being towed from the static before their demonstration?

Hi patrouilles,

I think you've right. I've seen this into earlier messages on the internet.
So they can still come to the Paris Airshow!!
Let's hope they will come.

I believe that around the 6th the Il-76 invassion will land at LBG so that will unveil the quantities. From previous Su-35 visits I know that there was only one, and indeed towed through the audience for the flying display.

If you don't have any special things to see at static, I would recommend not to enter the show ground. One advice though, don't forget to buy a parking ticket before you leave the parking.
Thanks Niek, photos from the static look pretty awful, so I wasn't planning to enter.

Does anyone know if the Museé de l'Air is open during the show, and the weekend before? It might be an option for Sunday with maybe chance to photograph some of the show aircraft on adjacent apron?

Spot 10 is obviously only good for landing shots late in the day, but I suppose displaying aircraft might pass to the north side of the spot?

Has anyone tried the nearby D50/A1 overpass as an alternative spot?

Parking should be possible somewhere in Dugny village I think.

Depends on which days you want to visit. During the trade days aircraft are towed to the ramp adjacent to the public area and photography is fine. I don't know if the French President is going to open the show. If he does, hours before and during his stay this ramp is closed to the public. During the public days the same ramp is open to accommodate the huge crowds and aircraft operate from the Dugny area.

New Info Paris Airshow about the A400M & A380:

There will be two A400M @ Le Bourget (not said in the provisional list.) A static colors in the L'armée de l'air and another for the flight demonstrations.
On the A380 is the same, there will be a static colors of British Airways and another for the demos.

Another new info about the new A350: The first test flight will take place on June 13 or 12 depending on the weather conditions!

Normally it is. I have been inside during two previous shows at least.

Hi,

I've asked the organisation of the Paris Airshow if they will use again the high fences (+/- 2mtr) in front of the public area (between the public area and the runway).

They told me: "I totally understand your reasoning and I agree that these are very large fences annoying but this is a descision for the safety part of the show. The public space is even increased this year (30 000m² )".

When you visit the site: http://www.paris-air-show.com/GB/THE-SHOW/Library.htm and you go there to the map "General Public Area", you can see this high fences that thay used 2 years ago. Here you can find more nice pictures of the show of 2011. When i look to the pictures, i think you have the sun into your back when you're going stay at the public area.

And at my question if it is allowed to use stepladders they say: "To avoid seeing some people get too close to the runway. We are not immune to everything and anything in the largest Show in the world. As long as you do not cross the barriers with your stool you risk nothing"

And about the Russian Swifts and Russian Knights they don't know (or don't want to tell) if this both teams will participate at this Airshow. We have to wait if there is more news.
