I went to the Trade day on Wed. The main reason was to Photograph the SU35 and KA152. If they weren't advertized as flying I would not have bothered showing up. As always it was crowded.It was impossible to take good static pictures. I followed the signs to the flying display in front of the chalets only to be told by a security guard that only Press was allowed to view the flight line and runway! So I ended up taking pictures from the alley between the chalets and over the top of them. To top it all off the SU35 and KA152 didn't even fly because they cant figure out how to buy the right amount of insurance to fly everyday. I hope that the public days will have a viewing area like they have in the past but I will never bother going to this joke of an airshow again.

You pointed it out quite well yourself. It is a trade show, which is why the general public is not allowed to enter on the trade days.
On the public days, there is a large area, where you can see the runway and the show. So if you would have just bought a ticket for the public days, then there would have been no issue at all. (and you would see more flying displays as well)

New update:

The Sukhoi SU-35 will not fly tomorrow (22-06-2013).
It will fly Sunday at the other public day (23-06-2013)

I've gort this evening an mail from Salon Le Bourget that the SU -35, Ka-52, AN-70 and the YAK -130 will fly on on the Saturday and Sunday..

Can anyone tel me if the Mauritanian AF A-29B Super Tucano is still in Le Bourget ?.
I just heard that it was not in the static display today. On the place where it was parked the last days it was gone.
I wonder if it departed Le Bourget or maybe is parked in on of the hangers

Any information is much appreciated

was on Friday 21.06. at the Aerosalon and can confirm the place is emty, don´t know the Tucano dep. or is in one of the Hangars.
