The Air Tattoo is delighted that relations with the Japanese Air Self Defense Force remain strong with a senior JASDF commander attending as a guest at next month's airshow.

Although they are unable to send an aircraft to RIAT 2013 few will forget their European debut at RIAT 2012 featuring a group of Taiko drummers and a Boeing KC-767J.

We hope it won't be long before they touch down again; perhaps next time, they might even consider sending along a couple of F-15J Eagles to keep the KC-767 company . . .
