Spotter's Day TLP 2013-5

Post by thefightercommunity »

The Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP), and the Public Affairs Office of the Spanish Air Force are organizing a spotter's day on October the 1st, in order to offer professional and amateur photographers, who love aviation, the opportunity to see and take pictures of all the combat aircraft that are taking part in the last course of the year (TLP 2013-5).

Those photographers wishing to attend must follow the instructions that can be seen at the TLP official web site:
https://www.tlp-info.org/home/index.php ... s-day-2013

It must be taken into account that the number of registrations is limited. The last day to submit your registration is 15th August.

The aircraft participating in this course include French Mirage-2000D and Mirage 2000-5F, Italian Tornados IDS and Eurofighters, American F-15E, Polish F-16C, British Eurofighters and Spanish Air Force EF-18M.

The Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP) is an organisation formed under a Memorandum of Understanding between 10 NATO nations. The objective of the TLP is to increase the effectiveness of allied tactical air forces through the development of leadership skills, tactical flying capabilities, mission planning and tasking capabilities, and conceptual and doctrinal initiatives. TLP is based at Albacete Air Force Base in Spain and its two operational branches - Flying Branch and Academic & Concepts and Doctrine Branch- are staffed by experienced personnel from the member nations.

Alejandro

Does anyone know flying hours during the Spotter's Day? That is, at what time does the SD ends?

I'm attending on 2 October (it's now two days). Is anyone interested in sharing a hotel room/rental car with me? Please send me a message.

Alternatively, do any buses run along the east and west sides of the base?

Is 'wild' spotting still not hassle-free at Albacete, or has this changed? I suppose it will not be a problem on the 1st at least.

Thanks,

Peter
