The two Air Force flying wings stationed at NAS Fort Worth JRB, Tex., will temporarily operate out of Fort Worth Alliance Airport while an aging runway at the joint installation undergoes repair, according to the units. Air Force Reserve Command's 301st Fighter Wing began shifting its F-16s on Monday morning local time to nearby airport, wing spokesman Capt. Rodney Ellison told the Daily Report. Overall, he said 20 of the unit's F-16s are relocating there—about 20 miles north of the joint base. All 20 are expected to be in place at their temporary home on Tuesday and flying operations are scheduled to start from the airport on Wednesday, said Ellison. The Texas Air National Guard's 136th Airlift Wing is also shifting six of its C-130s to the airport starting on Tuesday, he said. The F-16s and C-130s, along with some 125 personnel, will likely stay through August. "The move allows much-needed runway repairs to take place," states the 301st FW's July 26 release.

From what I gathered the C-130's (USMC and TX ANG) and Army C-12's were to operate of the Taxiway at Navy. However the more at AFW the merrier.
As of last night 17 Vipers are at AFW. It is expected the C-40 of VR-59 will be at AFW as well.
In regards to the other marines unit at Navy, VMFA-112 Cowboys, they are currently deployed. However they still have some jets at home but not sure if they will operate those anytime soon.
yeah! all spads is in alliance and security is tight by the SW corner near the warehouse .... we are not able to get near that warehouse since all the F16 is parked there beside the fence.
NAVAL AIR STATION FORT WORTH JOINT RESERVE BASE, Texas – The 301st Fighter Wing and 136th Airlift Wing will move flight operations to Alliance airport for approximately one month. Aircraft will begin moving to Alliance July 29 and will likely stay through the entire month of August.
The move allows much needed runway repairs to take place at NAS Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base. The repairs will decrease the foreign object debris hazard from the aging runway which has surpassed its service life.
During the repairs, approximately 125 base personnel will be present at Alliance Airport, along with 20 F-16s and 6 C-130s.
My 1st trip back to JRB after the runway repair.... 9-21-2013 a beautiful Fall Sat in Ft worth ... 80 degreesF, north winds using active runway 34.
NO spads
but LMT traffic was good.... weired thing is Lightning 11 and 12 took off from 17 instead of 34 active.... Landed on 4 active ... wind was from the north.
F-35B in green primer with nothing on the tailcode or anything flew at 2:30pm
Lighting 1-1 F-35B 168752 ( I think that is the nunmber since its really small near the exhuast below the tail
Chaser Lighting 1-2 F-16C 84-234
by 4:15 another flight of F-35B came out and also take off from 17 when 34 was the active and landed on 34

Dave, you probably mean 'landed on 34 active'?. Or has a new runway been constructed at NFW?

You mean the 457th for sure. They left late this year and to my knowledge it was going to be a six month TDY so one would think it would be around spring time before they are back in Texas. I also think they deployed with the Makos as a composite wing as we still get to enjoy the Spads flying around the JRB while part of the SQN is on deployment.
The Cowboys (VMFA-112) left in July. I would imagine we can welcome them home any day now.
