First Belgian NH90-NFH delivered

the first NH90-NFH for the Belgian Air Force has been handed over yesterday.
this version will replace the ageing Seaking and Alouette III.

Registration/colorscheme Belgian NH.90's

- serials of the NH.90-NFH’s : RN01, RN02, RN03, RN04.
- serials of the NH.90-TTH’s : RN05, RN06, RN07, RN08.

- colorscheme of the NFH’s : Gull grey, gloss 15-25 GU - Mankiewicz topcoat paint Alexit 472-22, colour acc. FED-STD-595 FS 26440.

For the record;
RN01 (the first NFH) will be flown from Donauwörth to Marseille-Marignane in September untill April 2014 to help Belgian pilots, operators and technicians with their training before returning to Koksijde.
RN05 (the first TTH) was delivered to the 1w in December 2012, flown from Marseille to Le Luc for training with the ALAT, visited Bevekom for the 21st July parade / flightpast and went back to Le Luc afterwards and will return to the 1w homebase in September 2013.

UPDATE:

last week, RN01 left Donauworth for Marignane, France, where it will join RN05 in the training of crews ans personel.
work should be done by may 2014.
furthermore, it has been announced today that delivery of the first NH90NFH on Belgian Soil (Koksijde AB) is sheduled for November 2013, but the aircraft being the second built NH90NFH, RN02 (witch is in the final stages of production and is yet to fly).

(although i have been told by someone from Bkoks that delivery would be in February 2014)

Update:

RN01 has been flown over to Marignane on August 26.
RN02 is as good as ready, expected to Arrive at Koksijde AB in November 2013 (in worst case February 2014)
