Obviously you are not a journalist. Most people who visit nos.nl have never heard about airliners.net or other aviation websites. Isn't it nice that regular media are reporting this?phkza wrote:Obviously they run out of real news at the NOS. This topic was widely discussed on A.net.
You might not be so keen on the B747-400 if you had to fly on them rather than a B777,or better still a B787 or a A380.The last B747 flight I took across the Pacific a couple of weeks ago was a throwback to the dark ages.phkza wrote:Obviously they run out of real news at the NOS. This topic was widely discussed on A.net. Most of ANA 747s have already gone, including some nice (Disney) colour schemes. Nonetheless, sad to see more and more 747s disappear.
Although the 777-300 has roughly the same capacities as the 747 (passenger wise), having a 747 in your fleet was always a status symbol. Plus, they look big with that upperdeck, which is always a pleasure to fly on because of all the room and quietness.
