W&R Germany 9 + 10 august

Zulpich 9th august 2013:
Preserved at the Vetter factory at Blatzheimerstrasse.
20+31 MiG-23ML pres, ex NVA 563
While in Zulpich some action from Norvenich came overhead, first at 10.30h a 3-ship formation Eurofighters and at 10.40h a single Eufi crossed. At 10.50h a BundesPolizei EC-120 was seen training over the fields west off Zulpich.

Bitburg 9th august 2013:
Seen at a military hardware collection (mostly tanks) at the Zur Startbahn at the former USAF base. All is behind a fence and I guess only the first Mirage (BA51) and maybe the fuselage behind it (BD13) are visible from outside! I was lucky someone arrived with the key and let me in for a look and some pictures.

Ramstein friday 9 + 10 august:
F-86F pres on pole behind terminal visible (ex Sembach, Spanish AF C5-163)
(74-0098/”7001CTS”) F-15A BDRT, seen from back near Hot Cargo ramp

Koln-Porz (Westhoven) 10th august:
Alpha Jet 41+29 was NOT seen inside the Mudra-Kaserne at Kolnerstrasse 262. From google earth street view it should be visible from the east corner of the kaserne with the company BDK. It was not!! Was it moved or just gone to another location?

I could have gone better to Koln-Bonn were this evening a nice US Navy C-130T was for a nightstop!

You did not notice the Mi-8 at Zulpich or did it move elsewhere recently?
Last october all Belgium Mirages at Bitburg could be seen from outside the fenced-off compount, from a parking next to this military hardware collection.

I did not know of an Mi-8 in Zulpich! Should it have been at the same company? There was only a tank standing next to it.

Sorry, my memory lacks me... I got mixed up in my mind with the W&R location at Kall, where a MiG-23 and a Mi-8 are perserved.
