No sign of a 12th Fitter on the flightline in covers? We noted one on Sunday.

Nope, but, when we arrived on Friday around noon we saw seven Su-22 departing from Minsk.
When we finally entered the base half an hour later we saw only six coming in, not knowing if the seventh already landed prior.

We saw a total of eleven, or twelve if you count the one we missed.
I will check with someone who was on base earlier that day.

Hi Rob,

Many thanks for posting, also the Radom log!

Note that the Su-22s appear to be used by both squadrons. As most of the Sukhois did not wear any unit markings it therefore seems tricky to assume the squadron by historical allocations (unless you have other information that is). In the Scramble database I all allocated them simply to the 21.BLT as I did with the Kresziny F-16's which are in our database now all with the 31.BLT.

Note that MiG-29 4116 was in the right hand QRA shed on friday. On sunday it had been replaced by 4104. On sunday MiG-29A 83 was in the left hand QRA shed.

Paul, we saw the 4116 in the QRA shed, but in the afternoon it took part in the rehearsal and was replaced by another MiG-29.
