An MV-22B Osprey from Miramar Marine Corps Air Station made a “hard landing” Monday afternoon during a training flight in Nevada, a Marine official said.
All four people in the air crew walked away from the aircraft, which was damaged enough that it could not fly afterward, said Maj. Carl Redding, a spokesman at Miramar.
The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. near Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, Nev.
The incident is currently under investigation, the Marine Corps said.
