I would like to visit salzburg in januari 2014. Can someone tell me the dates for the russian invasion.

And some information about getting to salzburg from munchen airport and places overnight in salzburg would be nice.

The etap hotel is walking distance from the airport. Spotting can be done from the panorama terrace or on right side of the terminal. Next to the dakota. I dont know... but i havent seen that many russians the last 2 yrs there in dec/jan/feb

Normally the big Russian weekends are the first and second one in January. You don't have to expect old Russian planes, maybe only one Yak42, but I expect Aeroflot will bring 3/4 IL96 a day.
