F-4E Kurnass 2000 @ Givat Olga, Israel

In memory of the 40th Anniversary of the "Yom Kippur War" the Phantom so many of you saw last year has been restored and placed on display at the "Planetarium" in this Israeli coastal town. Inside the building is Hughes 500 serial 220 (c/n 500645) also beautifully restored (and just round the corner is Kfir 875).

F-4E 702 (probably ex 72-0129) in the marks of 119 squadron with the badges of the other former IAF F-4E squadrons on the nose

Not only the canopy looks dusty.... the camera sensor has also been exposed to extreme Negev desert dirt!!! :wink:
