HF- Mill frequenties wanted.

Hello HF listeners.

Like to listen this winter on military HF frequenties, does there exist a hf -oceanic clearence frequentie like shannwick, only for Militairy aircraft, i listened out on 11.175 for a while, but like frequenties under 10 mhz.

Thanks, most off them are civil-nat i alreaday know,you can hear the lease reach planes there, but very nice that you can listen to them without a receiver !!!

Hi Rene,

Believe they don't get their clearance for oceanic on HF, believe they can receive it either via ACARS or VHF while overhead UK (for instance)

USAF 08992.0 is also in use by HF-GCS
German AirForce Transport planes usually come 05687.0 short while after take off out of Germany with departure message and estimated flight times.
RAF 067330.0 & 09031.0 might be worthwhile monitoring for departure messages for the same.

Thanks i wrote the freqs down and will listen out, about the VHF part-As soon the planes depart from Germany you hear them by Dutch mill at 128.350 routing via Milgi towards Navpi after that
i don,t know anything about their routing , i guess they get their clearence by Londen Mill , i am just curious which that frequency that will be !!!
At cruise level i, receive them from quite a distance at a simple antenna setup so receiving them still on oceanic coordinates on VHF must be possible and brings me a step further !!

If they get their Oceanic clearance via VHF, they will contact Shanwick. I think most of the clearances are now going via ACARS, buts sometimes I do hear traffic on 123.950 requesting an Oceanic clearance or questions regarding their clearance via ACARS.

Perhaps this contains some clues.

It,s just fun to hear the Reach planes comming in each morning, my top list contains over 20 airplanes a day at the top of the Afghan war, most of them at tuesdays !!!

Further, during normal operating hours RCH traffic overhead The Netherlands will be on Dutch Mil 120.830/240.900 and outside operating hours on 128.350/397.275, during Weekend & nights they are on Maastricht 132.085 (FL345+) or 135.960 (FL245-345) , they switch to London 133.325 or the already mentioned 259.600 which is linked with 133.325. Believe mostly outside Operating hours, RCH traffic joins civil airways and therefore transferred to London Center 126.780 or when lower or inbound Mildenhall 118.480 -> 135.425 while still overhead The Northsea..

Quite regurlarly , RCH traffic performs an HF check on 11175.0 whilst flying overhead The Netherlands. When I heard Oceanic clearances often, they mostly were overhead The Northsea talking to Shanwick.
