London Heathrow - 3/11/13 - LHR - CIVIL

Post by Indiaecho »

Hi,

I spent a day at Heathrow a little while back. Here are some of my shots:-

At this time of year, it pays to get there early to maximise the time you spend at the airport, which means you get to see the South African arrivals, such as ZS-SXX:-

It was the first opportunity I had to see the Virgin short haul operation:-

It was also my first chance to see the BA 787s:-

This Aeroflot 767 was a nice change from the more usual narrowbodied Airbuses:-

I'm really liking the new American livery:-

Another interestingly liveried US aircraft was Delta 767 N845MH:-

Two TAM aircraft arrived near enough one after the other. Firstly, a 777 turned up from Sao Paulo followed by the more interesting (to me) 767 PT-MSY:-

The best aircraft of the day though was China Southern 787 B-2736:-

I hope the photos are of interest - more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/ ... 838046165/
