Taiwan (RoCAF)P-3C deliveries today

Not the most auspicious day to take delivery of new airplanes, but P-3C VVLL3305 has been heard on HF en route to Taiwan across the Pacific with a VP-30 crew.

A second P-3C delivery today may have been 3302 calling VVLL3302.

These should be RoCAF P-3Cs 3302 and 3305.

As can be read below, not all has gone well with the delivery on these Orions.

It is thought the initial delivery was on Friday,13 December, not the date quoted in the article(which may have been based on US time).

One of 3302 or 3305 remains stuck at Anderson AFB.

P-3C 3301 (VVLL3301) was heard on the 16 or 17 Dec en route across the Pacific.

VVLL3302 heard on HF today (10 January),so it appears to be the delayed airplane finally departing Anderson on delivery to Ihla Formosa.
