This airframe was reported w/o during the 14 sep 2012 Taliban attacks while flying with VMA-211.

The VMA-214 Harriers returned from Hickam to Yuma November 24th as DORY 81-86
with FIST 31 (79-0433) and FIST 32 (87-0119). They were under Coronet West 417.

Is there photo proof of 165422/WP-11?
This airframe was reported w/o during the 14 sep 2012 Taliban attacks while flying with VMA-211.

This was reported as 165422 from a Japanese source. However this is clearly incorrect. An unclear picture on the RODN blog looks like 165428.

4 VMFA-232 UDP jets from Iwakuni(there since Sept 2013?) were seen at Kadena today, 6 January,

WT-00 (l/n 165181)
WT-01 (l/n 165186) full colour markings
WT-03 (l/n 165191)* this jet has only the modex and no other markings and appears very clean, suggesting a recent change.
WT-04 (l/n 165183)

This is the first sighting of this UDP I've seen since they arrived in Japan and AFIAK no Bu Nos have been reported from Japanese sources.

VMFA-112 at Iwakuni should be replaced within the next 2 weeks. Logic (!!!) would suggest a Beaufort unit will replace them.

VMGR-234 KC-130T RANGR03 was inbound Wake Island today (7th),so the return process for VMFA-112 would appear to have commenced.

Tally, any clue as to what the Bu number is for this?.
