Apart from the Huey the flightline actually contained a nice line up of fighters:
L-39s 40110, 40103, 40101, 40111 plus one more that landed but was parked in the 403 squadron area (probably 40117 but I need to double check my pics I made when it landed).
F-16s 40304/90035 and 40312/90025 plus one more dual that landed and parked in the 403 sqn area: 90034.
Main entrance gate was guarded by F-86 4322. The exit gate had an F-84E and an A-37 both marked "4309". Another gate (4 Wing) had yet another A-37.
Security was tight indeed - by the time I had seen everything some angry colonel told me that he doubted if foreigners (westerners?) were allowed entrance...

No active fast jets were seen during our brief visit around 12.30.
The very top of an OV-10C and 3 L-39 were visible from static.
Farang (westerners) are on thin ice at this base and those visiting here next year need to be careful on base here.

Did you also noted the c/n of this Albatross ? It is painted on many places.
395602.
Thank you !! According the great Thai Aviation Net site this c/n belongs to KhF1-38/39 ?
I think the RTAF L39's are the most difficult to correct identify, with lot of code changes.
