A Jordanian Air Force fighter jet has crashed after suffering a technical glitch during a training flight, with the pilot ejecting safely and remaining unhurt.
The aircraft went down at 12:20 p.m. local time (1020 GMT) on Sunday. The pilot, Capitan Ahmad Hazem Alawneh, ejected and survived the crash unhurt, state-run Petra news agency reported.
In May 2013, two people were killed after a military aircraft suffered a technical glitch during a routine training flight, and went down in northern Jordan, killing both the pilot and the trainee on board.
