Runway is north-south, static and main public area is always on the east side, sometimes they organise spotting/press facilities on the west side. Also outside of the base you can be on the east side (near the civil terminal on the south side approach) and on the west side on both approaches.
So take your pick
its possible to register as spotter (or press) for this event so they probarly going to do something extra for spotters

Looked like some sort of very dark grey c/s with a golden dragon of F7 wing...
Can anyone shed a light on this bird, seems non existant on internet? ;-(
