Tripoli - A Libyan military spokesperson says an army helicopter with eight people on board has gone missing in the country's east and may have been shot down.
A military official said the helicopter had come under fire, which forced it to change course before it went missing.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to media.
