De Alouette III wordt nog steeds door andere militaire operators gebruikt. Om het jubileumfeest extra luister bij te zetten hebben we een aantal militaire Europese Alouette III operators benaderd om deel te nemen aan de Alouette III fly-in op de jubileum dag, 12 september 2014.

We hopen op positieve respons, want wat zou het leuk en bijzonder zijn om de resterende militaire operators nog een keer op Vliegbasis Gilze Rijen bij elkaar te hebben en een blik te kunnen werpen op de verschillende nog in gebruik zijnde varianten.
As far as I know still no definite confirmations of foreign visitors.
Portugal and Malta have responded to their invitations, but I do not know in what way.

It is a reunion, so I am not sure whether spotters -and/or other outsiders are eligible to enter after filling in

They are also trying for Greek Navy, French Navy and Belgian Alouette III visits to Gilze-Rijen. Of course Kleine Brogel is in the weekend of 13/14 September.

It is clearly not intended for 'us'. The form asks for the unit you were in, when you where active on the Alouette etc. The form even states that partners cannot visit because of the number of people they are expecting.

My personal opinion is that it is inappropriate to fill in the form if you are not invited.
