ETNG closed for 6 months, by the beginning of MAY 2014

Good afternoon
got the information (reliable source), that around 09th May 2014, Geilenkirchen AFB will be closed at least for approx. 6 months, for runway construction work. (despite Rotary acft, which don't need the runway)
So far no Info about where the E3A and KC135 will be operating from!!

Where did they deploy in earlier repairs at their homebase??
my personal quess is somewhere in Poland or Hungary...

Don't know it to be honest.
But my guess it that there will be a few at Orland, Konya, Budapest and/ or Cologne!! Hope to get some more info within the next weeks!

Don't forget Italy (Trapani/Sigonella) and Greece (Souda Bay/Preveza)

Sounds rather like a resurfacing of the runway than repair work.
