From the Airbus Helicopters webpage: Airbus and Avicopter will jointly produce the new EC175/AC352 helicopter. The press release states that this will encompass 1000 helicopters over the next 20 years. The EC175 will be produced in France for the worldwide market, while the Chinese will produce the AC352 for the Chinese market. Other sources mention the 1000 mark as an order, but from this press release it seems more likely that they have a goal of producing 1000 helicopters, not that a contract has been signed already for that number.
