I do not understand this, pls clarify. this means they will allow to stay outside and gendarmerie will only chek ID card or similar, or means that will send the people away?Gambler77 wrote: Gendarmerie will take care of the rest of everyone outside base hanging on the perimeter fence with latters etc. .

thanks in advance.
It is remarkable that Saint Dizier is always very relaxed as were Cambrai and Reims in their final years, even during the Libya campaign spotting and taking pictures at Saint Dizier was no problem.lappie wrote:This is policy at every french air base at every given time.jp 74 wrote:At Nancy they will check your id and then send you away......
At Istres with Indian su27s this policy was executed,
At Orange with Singapore F-16's it was not.
At Dijon spotters where not sent away during the visit of saudi F-15's in 2009 if my memory serves me right. (I was not there)
Sometimes we get lucky and most of the time we do not.
The first week is not mentioned, does this mean flying missions in other areas or familiarisation flights?!lappie wrote:Some more information concerning opening times of low flying areas vreated for Green Shield:
