I came across a picture that I took while in takeoff from Cambridge / Marshall Aerospace. In front of the maintenance building are four (4) RAF Hercules C1 each with a pod on the left wing tip. (and a white Gulfstream) The date is august 16th 1998. The pods may be used for maritime reconnaissance from the Falklands...
Non of the four is fitted with a refueling boom.
Can anyone provide me with clue as where to find the possible corresponding numbers? Are these C1K's returning from the Falklands?
