Hi,

Ten VMFA(AW)-533 Hornets arrived at Hickam AFB today as FEUD 11 and FEUD 21 flight, supported by PETRO 61 (83-0075), PETRO 62 (59-1460),
PETRO 71 (84-0185) and PETRO 72 (60-0346). They should be departing to Wake Island tomorrow and later next week will continue to Japan.

Today 09th December the VMA-231 AV-8Bs at Kadena appear to have departed to CONUS, probably via Wake Island.AV-8Bs CG-01 and CG-02 were caught on camera departing Kadena with long-range tanks.

The days of the AV-8 UDP in the Far East are limited with the advent of the first F-35 UDP in Japan within 2 years.
