Yesterday (Sunday 11 May) I was at a graduation party at the southbank of the river. At some point I heard the strong prop noise of a Herc which is not too strange as Portuguese Hercs come over almost daily on approach to Lisbon. I stepped out and right overhead was a Cameroon Air Force C-130! camouflaged and clearly visible roundels under the wing. By the looks of it, it didn't land at Lisbon, but made an approach, an s-turn to the right and probably landed at Alverca. Time was almost exactly 17.00. I would very much appreciate any info on its identity!

SBS shows hex code 034443 in Portugal yesterday afternoon, airframes.org shows TJX-CD for 034443.
So not confirmed, but a good option.

Thanks (again) for the help. Seems likely indeed, as the only known picture of this one shows it is camouflaged. I will see if I can check it with some locals.
