JRB/NAS Fort Worth is always a very nice place to do some aviation photography. However, when we arrived on Monday, a large line with thunderstorms approached the airport. In between showers, with massive lightning, Viper77 asked for start-up and departed to the south, turning immediately to a northerly heading, away from the systems. When the showers had passed, reach223 arrived, all the way from Ramstein . For Tuesday, a cloudy day was forecasted, but it turned into a nice sunny day. And flying was good with the usual variation. Wednesday was a very nice sunny day, although with some wind, preventing the F-35 from flying. Just before we had to depart again, the Iraqi F-16 had requested start up. We waited of course, especially as the fighters had to taxi via the taxiway in front of our spot. Very nice!
