Spotting in Switserland this August

Hi all,

I'm planning to visit Switserland this summer in August. I know that they shut down a lot of activity during the summer months. As far as I can see from the swiss website, it seems that only Emmen has F-18 and F-5 activity during the August month. This would be fine by me, as I will check out Emmen then.

However, can somebody perhaps confirm if I'm seeing this correctly? I have used this site to check it: http://www.lw.admin.ch/internet/luftwaf ... eiten.html

I have also checked the airfield guide about photography at this base. It seems it's not as good there as some of the other Swiss bases, but still quite good. If someone has any tips or pointers, then I would really appreciate it.

not a bad point is near the preserved hunter! you can make taxi shots and departing shots.
