Hello all,
I'm looking to get back into hobby after a large break. So first things first, I'd like to buy a handheld scanner which has the option to listen to military aviation.
After digging through several (older) threads and some tips I got during a small visit at Volkel, the Bearcat scanners seem to be a possible way to go.
Two crossed my path: The Bearcat UBC 125XLT and the Bearcat UBC3500XLT.
The 125XLT is cheaper, scans a bit slower through it's channels as the 3500, but has the option to enter names for the channels.
Is there anything why I shouldn't buy the 125XLT compared to the 3500?
Tips about other handheld scanners are also welcome. ('You might want to look at brand-x for that-or-that reason')
Thank you in advance!
