When they use runway 28 the best location to park your car is at Café-Restaurant 't Vliegveld in Hulten, it's just a few hundred meters away. If you fancy a slightly longer walk, you can also park at the carpool area next to the A58 exit, near the Tango station. The Burgemeester Ballingsweg (former Langebergseweg) will be closed 0800-1800 Thu-Fri-Sat for all motorized traffic.seahawkgfx wrote:Can you tell us something about parking outside the base on Thursday?
A pity you hadn't contacted us before with your question, as there is no such thing as a 'no wives' rule. The event is only open for spotters (male or female), so we asked to leave the (non-spotting)mum and kids at home on Thursday. Sorry for the confusion, but we hope you will enjoy the show at Gilze-Rijen!seahawkgfx wrote:Because it said "no wives". We figured that with lkimited places it would be unlikely to get 2 places with that rule in place. How should I show that my wife got 2000+ pics on jetphots?
Unfortunately the children were not on board during the formation flypast with the F16s. But they had a very nice scenic flight on the way back to Schiphol!Derice wrote:Stichting Hoogvliegers (Airsmiles Foundation) will be present both days with PH-KMR, Gippsland GA-8 Airvan (static).
Last year we silenced the crowds as a KLM Boeing 737 did a flyby with 125 children who are incurably ill or have a handicap.
This year there will also be something special on Saturday, view this teaser trailer to find out what it is:
I am sure we will. And the fence is a good place at Gilze anyway.Edwin wrote:A pity you hadn't contacted us before with your question, as there is no such thing as a 'no wives' rule.
