Saab has today received an order for construction of three submarines for the Royal Swedish Navy, as to modernize two older submarines. One Gotland class submarine made system tests with US Navy in the waters outside San Diego during one year. The submarine production is off topic, but Saab continue 39E Gripen modernization. Saab develop and produce radar- and communication systems for several navies.
Production of submarines is also planned.
