Big surprise ??

Well some time ago ( a rumor ) it has been announced that the organisation would try to get a USAF bomber to do a flyby ....
Don't know if that would be today or on one of the other days ( addition to the Airpower demo  ).
Don't shoot me if it should be another big surprise ...

All 3x B52 are going to depart EGVA at around 0500-0530z back to the US, so i doubt one of them will show up. Callsigns will be Doom11, 12 and 13.
Someone told me about a possible B1 from Moron/ Rota yesterday at the fence. Don't know if there's a big chance this one wil show up.
As Gilze, or better to say the Open Dagen seems to be a very poor event this year, with a bunch of cancellations, i doubt about the Bone as well, to be honest!

Times are changed unfortunately, do remember the airshow at Florennes AB in 2001 with a B-1B as flying surprise.
Although I attent the open day I missed this one because it flew on Sunday....
kind regards,

Maurits

What a pitty that a lot of helicopters landed directly into the static side instead of performing at least one normal runway approach, especially considering the fact that 700 (?) spotters on base and also some off base where facing a dull and rather cool day with not too many movements compared to earlier years.
