Retire the LN F-15c's and replace them with Raptors!

There aren't enough Raptors as a result of 75% of the proposed F-22As being cancelled by successive Administrations looking for the "peace dividend" for Lakenheath to have permanently assigned airplanes.

The best that can be hoped for these is 12 jets on TDY for about 4 months a year similar to what happens at Kadena.

The F-15C squadron is definitely under threat, but there has been a rumour about one of the F-15E squadrons transferring to Korea (Kuansan AB?) as well.

A rumour yes, nothing stated ( so far ) by DOD sources.
But then again, the future of RAF Lakenheath has been discussed before ...
