During my holiday in Poland in combination with the wedding there of another scramble board member. Next to the cultural highlights I ran into some planes as well. Here’s what has been seen:

After the wedding we moved on to the neighbourhood of Cracow and passed Andrychow

A short visit was payed to the airfield of Bielsko Biala. Unfortunately the airfield was already closed, so no chance to get into the hangars where a Yak12M and L4H should be present. Despite some help of a friendly Polish man, who confirmed the aircraft still to be there, no access to the locked hangars.

Next to the museum on this old airfield, the airfield is still used by the Policja helicopters. Just after arrival when walking around outside the hangar was opened and a PZL Kania was pulled out. While pulling out, a 2nd PZL Kania was noticed inside (did not look operational, no rotors and some covers applied). The Kania pulled outside was started a couples of meters distance and took off to return after about 1 hr.
