Photo 11: Su22 m-4 was used in air policing in the Baltic States?
Did you make a photo of the PZL11?

Cheers

As far as I know, Polish AF only sent Mig-29s in Baltic air policing.
Su-22 is far from being an interceptor, so not really usefull in such missions.
Great pictures ! A reminder of those years following the fall of Berlin's Wall, when it was still possible to see Mig-17 (Poland and Romania), 21, 23, Su-20 etc flying in Eastern Europe.

Nice PZL11 pic! This museum is still on my "museums to visit list".

Su 22 also has NATO badge on tail. Maybe they used it as a Sqn hack?

The rose and maybe the colors on tail of this SU-22, are personal marking of former commander of the 7th bomber-reconnaissance aviation regiment from Powidz AB, col. Leszek Cwojdziński
