An engine on an Emirates flight from Dubai caught fire after landing at Boston Logan International Airport Sunday afternoon, officials said.
Massport officials said the Boeing 777-300 with 358 people on board had flames coming from the No. 1 engine after landing at about 2 p.m. The small fire was put out within six minutes, according to authorities.
An air traffic controller observed the fire and called authorities, and the pilot was also notified by equipment on the plane, officials said.

The crew advised they never had a fire indication, but could see some flames on the camera,
which stopped after the engine was shut down.
Emergency service subsequently reported they were seeing an active fuel leak,
the crew shut down the aircraft and reported they had a strong smell of fuel on board.
The passengers were kept on board until the aircraft could be towed to the apron.
