Luton - 4/4/14 - CIVIL

Post by Indiaecho »

Hi,

Some photos from a trip to Luton way back at the beginning of the summer.

Visibility was pretty poor when I arrived, making it difficult to make out DHL's D-AEAF in a rather muted 'polar bear'
scheme compared to their usual colourful livery:-

El Al sent two Boeing 737s over the course of the day;-

Alsie Express ATR-72 OY-CLY was a very unusual and welcome visitor:-

Several 'corporate' airliners were around, including VP-CMJ:-

It is always good to see 737-200s, such as VP-CAQ:-

There were lots of biz jets coming and going, as you would expect at Luton, including Global Express N626DJ:-

Numerous Gulfstreams were present - M-USIK was probably the best:-

It was a good move to get to the airport early, as several of the parking spots were occupied by a skip, which was filled over the course of the day with the remnants of the old, spotter friendly, fence:-

I hope the photos are of interest - more can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho ... ?details=1
