According to a local newspaper they will be flying from the south this year.

Previous years the first wave departed from EHEH around 10:00LT and the second wave around 13:00LT.
Most likely it will be the same this time.

I am quite sure there will be no wave at 10.00 due to morning fog and we can be happy something happening before midday. I hope they are able to delay until afternoon instead of cancelling the whole story.

this basically means until tomorrow midnight:
visibilty 4000 metres (only) and haze!
Chance of 40% of fog with 500 metres visibility until 10.00 hrs local time
Best weather being 7000 metres visibilty and cloud base around 1.000 feet (300 metres) and that should develop somewhere between 11.00 and 13.00 hrs local time.
Ginkelse Heide probably no better due to neighbourhood of rivers bringing even more moisture into the air.
All in all, not really weather for para-jumps.

Will give it a try anyway.

Even this afternoon the paradropping at Deelen, by the German C-160's, was canceled, but they did take-off and returned early.
Hope they still try it in the morning...

The planned paradroppings are:
Van 10.00 tot 16.00 uur: Paradropping op de Ginkelse Hei in Ede.
Van 13.30 tot 14.00 uur: Paradropping in Driel met Poolse parachutisten

Gaan ze een linker of een rechterhand circuit draaien boven de Ginkelse? En naast de transal, herc en c47 nog andere bijzondere fly pasts op de Ginkelse heide vandaag, als het weer meewerkt? Tnx
