A new 'Important' notice has been posted on FB but it will not allow a cut and paste into Google translate! Can any of the local boys summarise the message for us ... looks like something about food and drink!! Cheers in advance.
Looks like there are rehearsal flights on Friday. Can these be viewed from the outside?
The rehearsal is scheduled for Friday at 1245 local time.
The latest message is about security measures... I don't find it very important for the aviation enthusiast it's more about the common people which planning to visit the event.
Important for all those guys who are planning to visit the airport for rehearsal on Friday.
Today I spoke with the security service of Sofia Airport. Their advice is to stay (at least) on 5 meters distance from the fence. If you are at the fence or you are with a ladder it could cost a problems with the police.
Well if you are going to showcase your Air Force, then that's the way to do it! 90 minutes of sheer bliss. How low was the solo Mig-29 when he went inverted from the missed approach? WOW!! No wonder the Bulgarians were whooping and clapping throughout. Shame the sun was always in front.
Thanks for the info Hornise, was by the river on Friday.

A great show, which featured almost all airworthy aircraft of the Bulgarian AF. Any info on the two An-26s and the Mi-8 would be great.
