During our holiday me and my wife were able to visit the Abbotsford International Airshow 2014, held on 8,9, 10 August 2014. Like last year, there was no participation of USAF military. The Canadian Forces sent less aircraft due to budget cuts and operational reasons. So, it was more a warbird show with some current military aircraft. On Friday, there was a entrance for the media with a small visit to the flightline and afterwards the rehearsals could be watched. New this year was the Twilight Show, starting on 5 PM on Friday. Lots of aircraft flew in the twilight so a nice warm light fell on the aircraft, and the CF-18 Demo flew a full show with full afterburner. Later, when it was getting darker, some aircraft flew with fireworks on their wings.
The main show was on Saterday and Sunday, ending with the Snowbirds. Enough talking, some pictures.
