RED FLAG 15-1 will be from Jan. 26 to Feb. 13.

RED FLAG 15-2 will be from Mar. 2 to 13.

RED FLAG 15-3 will be from July 13 to 31.

RED FLAG 15-4 will be from Aug. 17 to 28.

Dates and units participating in Red Flag exercises are subject to change.

Green Flag - West aircraft and crews fly from Nellis AFB, Nev., in support of ground combat training at Fort Irwin (Barstow), Calif.

JFEX (Joint Forcible Entry Exercise) Large-Scale Air Mobility Exercise

JFEX is a US Air Force Weapons School large-scale air mobility exercise in which participants plan and execute a complex air-land operation in a simulated contested battlefield. JFEX exercises participants' ability to synchronize aircraft movements from geographically-separated bases, command large formations of dissimilar aircraft in high threat airspace, and tactically deliver and recover combat forces via air drops and combat landings on an unimproved landing strip.

JFEX schedule for calendar year 2015:

Class 15A will take place June 20, 2015
Class 15B will take place Dec. 12, 2015
