A340 "Ebola Jet" for German Government

I haven't seen this reported here yet.

Lufthansa A340-300 D-AIGZ is currently in Hamburg, being converted into a medevac aircraft, especially for transporting Ebola patients.

According to http://www.flugrevue.de/zivilluftfahrt/ ... uen/599574 the aircraft will remain a civil aircraft, operating with voluntary Lufthansa crews. The Lufthansa colours have been neutralised, the white tail carries the German flag and a small Federal Government logo is shown near door 2.

For those who want to see the "Ebola-Jet", it has been parked in FRA, in the Lufthansa area, since its arrival here on 14DEC14.
Easiest way to see it, is from windowseat on the left hand side of a plane, landing on 25R ;-)
(that's how I saw it today, 17DEC).
It should be visible from the parking-garage near the entrance to the Lufthansa-base though, looking over the sound-wall.
