JGSDF OH-1 ditched and sank

Post by Uni »

An OH-1 (S/N?) ditched and sank off Wakayama airport(Wakayama pref.) on 17 Feb., 2015.
The 2 crew were evacuated safety after ditching.
The chopper belonged to JGSDF Yao and had some T&G trainings around the Wakayama airport.

There are no official announcement by now, but it ssemes the S/N is 32634 / MH.
In these two years, there were two OH-1s at JGSDF Yao and they were 32633 and 32634.
I saw some photos of the salvage, I can read "4" as the most right number.
